VTG 1944 WWII Maritime ALPHA I Signal Flag- Mare Island – Sand Hills Lighthouse
From the inventory of Sand Hills Lighthouse on Lake Superior in Ahmeek, Michigan.
I am selling inventory from the lighthouse. This is one of the items I have available:
I suspect these flags are US Coast Guard or Navy surplus. I have several wooden crates, some unopened, and some with flags still rolled and sealed.
I have at least 20 of the I Code signal flags still in their paper rolls when they were shipped from the Mare Island flag loft.
The flag shown in the photos was just unrolled from the package. The flags measure approximately 50 x 55 inches. They are all new old stock in unused condition.
